Application Process

STEP 1

Attend a Tour

We offer select dates for families to tour Atheneum both in person and virtually. The content of the tours will be essentially the same in both formats. During the in-person tours, we will be able to take a look at each of the Atheneum classrooms to meet the teachers and see what a typical day in an Atheneum classroom looks like. During the virtual tour, you will get an overview of the Atheneum program, learn about our curriculum and have time to ask questions.

All in-person tours last approximately one hour.

Sibling Information

ISD 199 Residents

Siblings of Atheneum students may apply to enroll at Salem Hills Elementary by submitting an Intra-District Transfer application.

Intra-District Transfer Process

The Intra-district Transfer Process for elementary schools provides the opportunity for ISD 199 families to have students attend a school other than the one assigned by attendance boundaries. If approved, transportation arrangements are the responsibility of the parent/guardian.

Intra-District Transfer Process

Sibling Transportation

Siblings of Atheneum students with approved Intra-District Transfer applications, will be provided transportation only if the bus capacity is not filled. However, when an Atheneum student exits the Atheneum program (to attend the middle school or for any other reason), their sibling(s) will no longer have transportation to Salem Hills, unless the student lives inside of Salem Hills attendance area.
