Our School

The Atheneum Gifted Magnet Program, which is housed in Salem Hills Elementary School for students in grades 2-5, was established in 2002. In that time, the school has been named a National Blue Ribbon High Performing School and has most recently been named the No. 1 elementary school in Minnesota by U.S. News & World Report.

Atheneum ensures daily challenging and differentiated curriculum in all core academic content areas. Instruction is designed around district curriculum and Minnesota State Standards to provide a well-rounded and rigorous academic experience.
