Volunteering & Parent Groups

A parent volunteer talks with a student at the karaoke booth during their school carnival

Thank you to our many wonderful Inver Grove Heights Schools volunteers, especially the parents who volunteer with our school PTSAs, PTOs, and booster clubs!

Our parent groups host events, recognize our teachers, gather and direct donations to supplement school needs, and so much more. The support they provide to our staff shows how valuable they are, and we wouldn’t be able to put on many of our fun, community-focused events without them.

Thank you to our PTSAs, PTOs, and boosters for all of their work to make so many events happen. The Inver Grove Heights Middle School PTSA has hosted a party for grades seven and eight, the Salem Hills Elementary School PTO has held its annual Glowflake winter carnival and dance, and parents and community members have helped run learning stations at Pine Bend Elementary School’s annual Students and Adults Learning Together (SALT) Day. Our parent organizations continue to be busy planning more events for the months ahead!

Our PTSAs, PTOs, and boosters meet regularly throughout the year. Parents can contact their school or their child’s sports team to learn more about parent groups and volunteering. Parents and community members can also find more information on our Get Involved webpage.

Thank you, parents, for the support you give to our students, teachers, and staff!
